Presentations

Our event was kicked off with our own Operations Director and vExpert, Barry Coombs who introduced the event and how we at ComputerWorld see the IT industry moving forward in the future. 

Virtualisation and Cloud

Our first keynote presentation was delivered by VMware CTO and VP, Joe Baguley. Joe focused on the radical changes that are currently taking place within Virtualisation and the cloud and VMware's vision is helping businesses keep up with these changes to stay ahead of the competition.

Barry Coombs then expanded upon Joe's presentation and the VMware vision around Virtualisation and Cloud. Barry presented the Software Defined Data Centre including the new features within vSphere 6.5 that were announced at VMworld Europe 2016 and NSX.

WorkSpace Transformation

Our Second keynote was presented by Simon Townsend, AppSense CTO. Simon took us through the evolution of end-user computing and the revolution the users have gone through to be mobile in the hybrid world. 

AppSense CTO, Simon Townsend joined our team at the latest Define Tomorrow event in Bristol to deliver a keynote presentation around workspace transformation and how the future of technology is focused around the mobility that is needed in business today.

Barry also expanded upon Simon's presentation and the need to ensure your business is allowing users to be mobile whilst maintaining high security standards to protect your data. Barry presented VMware's solution to this around Workspace ONE. 

At our latest Define Tomorrow event, Barry coombs presented VMware's Workspace ONE solution and how this allows businesses to let their users to be mobile whilst maintaining a high level of security to protect their data.

Dell HyperConverged

Mark Shaw, VMware Technology Lead at DellEMC presented an overview of the Dell Hyperconverged Infrastructure.

Dell Networking

We also had a presentation from Mark Pearce, Channel Director at Dell Networking around the need for flawless Networking and how Dell's solution can provide this for your business.
