NSX Basics - Creating Networks using Logical Switches
/In this video demonstration I will how you how to create new networks within the NSX environment and make them routable on an external network, all without making any changes to physical switches.
As shown in the demo I did not make a single change to any of the physical switches to support new networks. It is important to point out that I had already setup and configured OSPF across all the devices before recording this video. Using automation through the NSX API can allow for networks to be seamlessly created on demand just using software. To further build on this, other services can be included such as load balancers and firewall rules allowing a complete network stack to be provisioned for an application on demand.
