Dell Storage Compellent (SC) and EqualLogic (PS) cross platform replication

Today Dell announced SCOS7 for the SC series of storage, alongside this was the updated Dell Storage Manager which unifies the SC and PS platforms for management but also cross platform replication.

This is great news for SC and PS customers that are looking to introduce alternate platforms within their datacentres. Great examples of this are utilising PS at remote offices and migrating to SC at head office whilst wanting to still maintain an investment in PS at DR.
